Visualizzare con l’ecografo pleura, peritoneo e tutte le strutture addominali permette infatti di eseguire in sicurezza i blocchi della parete toracica e della parete addominale sia in sostituzione dell’anestesia generale (es. nella chirurgia della mammella) che in azione combinata a valenza analgesica. Anche nell’analgesia postoperatoria queste tecniche hanno dimostrato grande efficacia: garantiscono un recupero più rapido della funzionalità e un miglior controllo del dolore.
